Our project is a collection of lamp

Our project is a collection of lamps who reveal the flexibility, the transparence and the resistance of the material. We decided to create products made by one piece of mulberry paper. the aim of our lamps was to build a structure and a shape from the trunk. We mixted bark and thin fibers texture to create our forms and our patterns. The light of our lamp is slowly reduce by the thick parts of the fibers, which makes a soft atmosphere. The metal mecanism allow the user to manage the intensity of the light by stretching the lamp. It is creating an interaction between the user and the product.
