Falmouth Harbour:
Approaches are shown on
Admiralty Charts 154 and 32.
Entrance to the harbour is divided
into two channels by Black Rock, a
drying rock situated 3.5 cables
east of Pendennis Point. Larger
vessels use the Eastern Channel
which has a minimum depth of
14.0 metres. Western Channel has
a minimum depth of 5.0 metres.
There is a well marked channel to
Carrick Roads. The approaches to
Falmouth Docks have a minimum
depth of 5.2 metres.
Approach to Penryn via a tidal
channel half a mile long with an
entrance depth of 3.5 metres.
