The improvement in skin viscoelastic properties compared with baseline remained evident at 3 months with decreases in E1 and E2 of −10.5% (P = 0.035) and −4.3% (P = 0.297), respectively. Dermal thickness significantly increased at both the 1‐ and 3‐month follow‐up (+3.4%, P = 0.028 and +4%, P = 0.008, respectively), whereas dermal thickening with the saline control was observed at 1 month only (+2.5%, P = 0.015).
