It's true that their visuals are amazing though. Isn't it a good thing that everyone is talking about their visuals? The group gets attention and it creates a new image for the company as being good at casting. I don't know why people below are asking netizens to stop talking about their visuals. At the end, every group needs two things to succeed: One really good singer and one outstanding visual. With more time and confidence, Nayeon and Jihyo will become outstanding vocalists. But they already have nine outstanding visuals. Isn't this more than enough to succeed? Even though SNSD has Taeyeon, most people talk about how pretty they are. EXID has Solji, but if it weren't for Hani, nobody would know who they are. At the end of the day, in Korea at least, the visual is noted first. I hope Twice keeps getting the buzz and positive interest.

I absolutely love Day6. I have their album on repeat for the past 2 weeks. But the boys aren't exactly promoting themselves much overall since they refuse to play on music shows due to the whole "no live instrument" dilemma. But they're still relatively popular since think they play at festivals, which hits a different audience than the typical K-pop group. If anything, I think they work in a very similar fashion as indie bands in Korea.

Innocent looks with school uniforms... you can see why there hasn't been a girl group since Soshi hit daebak. Actually, I think JYP been scoring well this year. Above average even though not #1. Do you really expect Miss A, a girl group, to beat EXO? Plus, Wonder Girls is coming back as a band. It's experimental. You can't expect them to overtake Big Bang either as a newly formed 4 member band. 2PM being past their peak is old news, but I think they're still decent and recognizable. Got7 is finally getting recognition, and I hear Day6 is also decent. Plus, JYP's been active as an artist and was even in the Infinite Challenge Music Festival this year.

that's what's the problem today. everyone wants a fast song that hits #1 real quick real fast and then fade just as fast. where are the days when you give songs the time to have the ability to climb on the charts. let people marinate in the sound of the music and then reach #1, if it does so. it don't go #1 then it's automatically a failure. wtf. there are plenty of popular songs that everyone love but never made it #1. focus on making good music & not dumb, insignificant trophies.
