All weaknesses presented in this research work indicate that some of the SFBs under consideration stopped or reduced activities in the HACCP system area after its implementation, which confirms the findings of previous authors and proves that the problem with the maintenance of the HACCP/food safety system still exists. This research also revealed how many identified weaknesses and errors result from insufficient knowledge and skills of HACCP/food safety teams operating in the SFBs sector. It confirms the earlier findings of those researchers, who emphasised the importance of team selection in successful HACCP development.
