The face-to-face interviews ranged from 60 minutes to 75 minutes and were guided by three main questions. The first main question was: Tell me about your experience with workplace bullying? (a) Who was involved? (b) What kind of behavior did you experience? The second main question was, Describe the physical and psychological effect you experience from workplace bullying. (a) How did you respond emotionally? (b) What did you do to cope with the situation? (c) How did your behavior change in response to being bullied? (d)Tell me about how you feel this affected you, at work? At home? In general? The third main research question was: What did you notice or feel about the role of upper management or Human Resource in addressing or not addressing the bullying behavior? (a) Was the bullying reported to upper management or human resource? (b) What was the response of upper management or human resource, if reported? (c) Did their response to the bullying behavior resolve the problem? The data were entered into NVivo 11 qualitative analysis software where six138major themes were identified as having an impact on the seven participants. The six themes related to participants personal experience were (a) anxiety, (b) isolation, (c) depression, (d) leaving the organization, (e) humiliation, and (f) anger. While exploring the six main themes, a secondary theme was identified as: The experience of workplace bullying resulted in symptoms that required seeing a healthcare provider.
