Lori OsterlohHagaman CNHC • For the Rhinitis: I like to use a combination called Fenugreek and Thyme for sinus pressure and pain. While it doesn't do much for the drainage perse, it does help shrink the sinus moucosal membrane which then allows the "snot" to be blown out more effectively. If the nasal discharge is clear and watery, like what is seen in acute allergy responses, I have had luck using preparations containing immature orange peel (a natural source of synephine).
For the chronic allergic conjonctivitis: there is a blend I carry called EW. This blend has eyebright, red raspberry, goldenseal and bayberry in it. I like to make a "tea" from it. AFTER STRAINING (and only after straining out the particulate) it can be used as an eyewash to kill the pain associated with an allergic response of this type. I also have noticed that my clients experiencing this type of thing have a dampened or less of an allergic response after they have gone on a yeast cleanse.
