This method is also called a complete or total patient/client care approach. In the context of city of joy, we use this survivor-centered approach. We believe that shelter management must center on its residents. In all the actions made and in all the events planned, starting from the inception of each project to its budgeting, implementation and evaluation, survivors or beneficiaries must be the primary target with a view to make them feel full-fledged members of the community that welcomes them in order to develop , heal and reconstruct their life in a new perspective.
