When we were in the betel farm, we thought that the base of the dry leaf looked like wood and had a really aesthetic pattern. During the harvest of the mulberry paper we didn’t think over what kind of branch we wanted but we noticed that it was possible to create different pattern with the bark of the paper. We also appreciate the fact that we only cut small part of the plant to let the tree regenerate. In the bamboo factory, we looked for bamboo with a medium diameter and long trunk but not too long because we didn’t have much place in the bus. At the time nobody knew what we were going to do with those materials.
