Made it to the top eight at the last qualifying tournament, the Gwangju Korea Masters. Ongbamrungphan had a bright start to the year, with a final at the Thailand Masters. While she didn’t have any spectacular performances through the season, she was fairly consistent – reaching seven quarterfinals, mostly at top-tier events.
