The IW supervisor’s security behaviors influenced the employee’s security decisions, and the strength of LMX increased this effect. The employee’s security violation intention was also influenced by IW coworkers’ security behaviors. This effect was increased by the strength of TMX receipts (the extent to which the employee received support from coworkers). Interestingly, TMX receipts reduced the supervisor’s influence, but the supervisor’s influence did not reduce coworkers’ influence.
