Changes in the morphological character of A549 cells were
studied using acridine orange (AO)/ethidium bromide (EB),
Hoechst 33258, JC-1 mitochondrial membrane potential staining
and TUNEL assay staining under fluorescence microscopy to estimate
whether the growth inhibitory activity of the selected compound
was related to the induction of apoptosis.
