The waveguide structure of the prop

The waveguide structure of the proposed special fiber is shown in Fig.1. It consists of three layers: core, inner cladding and outer cladding respectively. The core and the outer cladding are both made of pure silica whilst the inner cladding is made of silica doped by fluorine element. Accordingly, the refractive index of the fiber core is equal to that of the outer cladding and larger than that of the inner cladding, just as depicted by Fig. 1.

所提出的特殊光纖的波導結構如圖1所示。它由芯層、內包層和外包層三層組成。芯和外包層均由純二氧化矽製成，而內包層則由摻氟二氧化矽製成。囙此，如圖1所示，光纖芯的折射率等於外包層的折射率，大於內包層的折射率。
