Dear Colleagues, Today, I announce that Nancy Berce, Chief Information Officer, will be leaving Johnson Controls to pursue an exciting opportunity at McKesson, where she will take on the role of Executive Vice President, Chief Information Officer and Chief Technology Officer. Nancy will remain with JCI until December, 31st. Nancy has been with JCI since 2018 and has been instrumental in transforming and leading our IT strategy, as we continue on our journey as the pure play leader in building technology and solutions. Nancy and her team have worked tirelessly to improve the reliability and effectiveness of IT and build new capabilities for digital and cybersecurity, while continuing to build strong partnerships and collaboration between the IT function and our business units. Some of the IT team’s achievements this year include the creation of Tech Hubs across 82 of our critical sites, and 370 business enablement initiatives driving $678m of net impact to the business. Our investment in our IT strategy remains critical to our long term success, with a roadmap of over $300m of total IT investments scheduled for FY20, and $90m of strategic investments over 34 key projects. We are currently undertaking a thorough search for Nancy’s replacement to continue the great work that is already underway. I’d like to take this opportunity to once again thank Nancy for her outstanding leadership and partnership and wish her the best of luck with the future. George Oliver Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
