A simple tool that will help you discover how you actually use time is the time analysis sheet. It is designed for you to determine for yourself how you will use your time. Do the next exercise, following the instructions carefully.
5 Using the Time Analysis Sheet (Figure 12.1), at thirty-minute intervals, write a summary of your activities for three days. Following the pattern of the one here, make two more pages. Use abbreviations you can understand. In each slot write exactly what you did and the actual time you used. Be sure to write down everything you did, even if you sat by the window and watched people pass by for thirty minutes.
