Good dayDear Eddie ,Yesterday our crew member visited the doctor. The Doctor’s report was produced , see attachment.This report, and the doctors advice are contradicting each other.From an insurance point of view, the crew member cannot be repatriated home until a doctors report clearly states that he is fit to fly.In addition, the attached states that the crew member is fit for light duties (even though FPD08 has “unfit to work” circled and then scored out), but, the Doctor suggests complete rest, however, the report also states that further treatment is required.We require clear advice (in email or in pdf form) of Doctors recommendations for the crew member. The attached FPD08 is misleading.If the requires assistance to the airport, from vessel, then this could be arranged through the local P&I correspondents, however, again, they will not act until the Doctor clearly states that the crew member is fit to fly.Please ask Doctor to send clear and obvious diagnosis.
