In multivariate logistic regression analysis for the factors that were significant in the univariate analysis or affected the occurrence of DM, lifestyle intervention showed a preventive effect on the occurrence of DM with statistical significance with an adjusted odds ratio (OR) for intervention of 0.752 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 0.644e0.879). The analysis for AMI also showed a preventive effect with an adjusted OR of 0.499 (95% CI: 0.251e0.992) (Table 4). In multivariate logistic regression analysis for hypertension and dyslipidemia, lifestyle intervention did not show a preventive effect on the occurrence of disease with statistical significance.
