8.3 Test procedure
Apply the unjointed standard test finger (Clause 4.7), with a force of 30 N ± 1 N, to all openings and places where an occupant or assistant may contact or be pinched by a moving part. Note these openings and places.
Apply the jointed standard test finger (Clause 4.6) to all noted openings and places, in every
possible position with all joints bent and then with all joints straight to determine if any of the parts listed in items a) to c) of Clause 8.2 can be touched.
