Processing of these cables are taking very long, then expected, as material is itself a complex commodity.

Its a big risk for sending it through Doha Port. Yard Operations is into its cleaning process but since Scanners in Doha Port are very sensitive and a single wire, having Fe content can put us into a lot of trouble, so we are extremely careful processing this lot to remove presence of Iron in any form. But this processing is too much time consuming. We are putting our every effort to make it possible somehow, but just to keep you posted with situation, I am sending this email.

Lets hope if there can be some relaxation from Doha Port Operations about exporting some tolerable percentage of Fe content, attached to commodities. Recently, many exporters have seriously suffered heavy penalties in Port, due to this problem because the Tolerance level of 0% for any Fe content, loaded in container. Even containers, having a single wire observed are held by Doha Customs and heavy penalties are imposed to Exporters, keeping containers on respective Trailers for 45 to 60 days.

This a very serious situation and carrying a huge risk, if any commodity is sent just like that. We have to be very very conscious in this Export, and thats why its taking too long to process the whole lot.
