Open your Control Panel and type PO

Open your Control Panel and type POWER in the upper right hand corner. The computer will see the all caps and think its Jeremy Clarkson in control, which will max out all your performance parameters.

Edit to add you'll want to open an admin command prompt for



powercfg -h off

and go on from there.

Edit to add again: powercfg /?
