I recently purchased the wired alum

I recently purchased the wired aluminum keyboard for an iMac that I was awaiting delivery. The Mac finally arrived but the keyboard has a problem. Its seems that without even touching the keyboard the volume controls are periodically activated, also the keys don’t respond 100% and often odd characters appear when a key is pressed. I’ve had to revert to my old windows keyboard which works fine.
