Haru House is a newly renovated traditional Kyoto house (kyo-machiya) located in a peaceful setting just to the west of the Kyoto Imperial Palace. It has two bedrooms (one with flooring and one traditional, with tatami) on the second floor, but fitted with comfortable double beds. Downstairs is a spacious dining and modern kitchen room with wooden flooring and a separate entertainment room with tatami mats.

The entertainment room features a 55-inch television and a spare sofa bed. The bath/shower room is newly renovated and is separate to the toilet facilities. The house also features two small Japanese gardens which are currently being upgraded.

Haru House has complimentary wireless internet and additional mobile pocket wifi.

Smoking is permitted outside.
