1939 Leica IIIa Model G with original lens and leather case
I bought this camera at an estate sale along with four others. I've listed them all for auction. I looked up the serial number to find out the date, but that's about all I've learned about this camera. The shutter works! I also found a fragile card with a note that says "COLOR FILM" and the date 1949. The family said they hadn't been looked at in 50 years. I don't want to disturb the mechanics, so I won't open them. According to the grandson, his grandfather owned the cameras during the war and used them to take photos there.
