The cell proliferation increased when compared with
that observed for the neat GEL/PVAmembranes (Figure 6).
The L929 cells that were co-cultured with GEL/PVA and
EGC membranes were each subjected to SEM analysis
(Figure 7). The L929 cells were well distributed over and
strongly adhered to the EGC membranes (Figure 7B).
