Oriented toward students: The student view creates the need for specific recommendations forlearners such as: activities, resources and learning tasks that would favor and improve theirlearning; catalog and classify history of good learning experiences from other students; pathpruning and shortening or simply links to follow, based on the tasks already done by the learnerand/or other learners; etc. Oriented toward educators: Educators’ goals are to get more objective feedback for instruction,evaluate the structure of the course content and its effectiveness on the learning process, classifylearners into groups based on their needs in guidance and monitoring, find learners regular as wellas irregular patterns, find the most frequently made mistakes, find activities that are more effective,discover information to improve the adaptation and customization of the courses, restructuresites to better personalize courseware, organize the contents in a format that is more suitable fora specific student or group of students (this suitability should be discovered beforehand), helpstudents to adaptively assemble their instructional plans, etc.
