Good afternoon, dear teachers and students!
My name is Tai Yayun. The topic of my speech is “I love my parents”.
Everyone has a family. I have a family, too. I name it “Happy family”, because everyone in my family is happy.
Come and meet my family, please! This is my family. There are three people in my family——my father, my mother and I.
My father is a teacher .He works in a school. He is a math teacher. I think he is a good teacher because he works very hard. He gets up very early every day and he works for 10 hours a day. So he is busy. He looks very tired when he gets home. He likes reading newspapers. He usually reads it after supper. So he knows a lot.
My mother is kind, pretty and gentle. She is 40 years old. She is an accountant. She works in a factory. She is tall and slim and she has two big eyes. She loves me and she takes good care of me. She always buys some books for me because I like reading. She wants me to be a top student.
My mother has too much work to do. She cooks meals for us. She sleeps very late every day. She works hard without complaining. She tries to save as much money as she can, and keeps everything in order.
My mother often tells me: “Work while you work, play while you play. If you don’t work, you will become lazy and be of no use to others.”
What a good piece of advice it is! I have to keep it in my mind.
