Note: we'll cc Billy to the email we send out to Michelle so that he's informed as well.
Hi Michelle,
Per Dan's request Du Laoshi and I would like to set a meeting to discuss the the finance procedures for the new short film. Unfortunately Billy is currently in New York City for the holidays so he won't be able to join (unless by phone perhaps) but we'd still like to keep him informed.
We understand that you are not responsible for the short film finances and that Billy, Du Laoshi and myself will handle, but we wanted to get your opinion on the following:
1. Which DMG company can/should we use for the short film? This is important because Dan wants to save as much money as possible (paying for things without fa piaos in some cases, etc). We have been told that this will be a problem if we use Yinji company name because of the need for fa piaos for tax purposes, etc.
2. We also wanted to make sure everyone is informed that currently Wu Zong has signed a cash request for over ¥700,000 but we have only received ¥250,000 because the accounting office doesn't have any more cash on account of the end of the year.
We understand that you will need to know which DMG company we will be using for contracts and payments before you can inform us about the best finance procedures to follow for this short film. Problem is that we also do not know which company to use so we wanted to get your opinion.
Once we have your opinion and have determined which DMG company we will be using, Dan would like us to write down the finance procedure for the short film and present it to him in a meeting. Sorry for bothering you. Hopefully we can have a quick meeting (maybe ten minutes) in the next day or two to discuss which company may be the best one to use for our purposes. Please let us know your thoughts when you can.
Thank you,
Max
