The most positive memory I have is when I graduated from Singapore Polytechnic in 1999 and achieve the Gold Award for the Manufacturing Module. It was a great achievement for me as I have struggle through five long years of part time studies to get to graduation day. I have to attend the classes in the evening four times a week after work and it is very exhausting. I feel like quitting many times during that time as work and study pressures are mounting. So when it was announced that I was to receive the Gold Award during the graduation ceremony, I feel like all my struggles to get to that point has not been wasted and well worth it. My classmates also cheer for me when I went up the podium to receive my award. This positive memory has taught me not to give up so easily and all good things will come if we continue to work hard and do our best.
