I am really touched by this video. Jolin Tsai has shown us that she is not just some simple "plastic" singer. She really puts her soul and ideals into her music, tearing down barriers and prejudices. I understand in Asia that homosexuality is still a very neglected topic, but people like Jolin and a few others are changing this situation. She has given the LGBT people of Taiwan and East Asia a beautiful video and song to inspire them. Sadly for as long as the Kuomintang is in power any progress for LGBT rights seems dull, I guess we'll have to wait for the next elections.
But it is obvious Taiwan is the most progressive nation in the Far East, it brings a light of hope for the region.
I love Taiwan, its culture and its people (let's hope China doesn't invade them, Taiwan needs to be allowed to make its own future without Chinese threats).
My country (Portugal) has legalised gay marriage years ago, if a conservative country like mine can do it, so can Taiwan! I believe in the strength of the Taiwanese people!
