Positive psychology has reached a strongposition in mainstream psychologyduring the last decade (Snyder & Lopez,2011). Research within the field has focusedon optimal psychological functioning and thesources for well-being. One theoretical modelassociated with positive psychology, whichseeks to explain well-being outcomes from engagement in specific activities, is the dualisticmodel of passion (Vallerand et al, 2003; Vallerand, 2010).
