The Off Programme is conceived as an open space for workshops, interventions and other graphic design presentations. Following the success of its launch in the past year, this time it will be primarily focused on exhibition projects.
If you are interested in presenting your exhibition project within the Brno Biennial 2016 or to use this opportunity for some other not-for-profit event, feel free to contact us at: info@bienalebrno.org
There is no deadline for submitting applications to the Off Programme. The applications are being reviewed regularly every few months. A group of reviewers consisting of representatives of the organiser and the authors of the 27th Brno Biennial assess each project in regards to the larger scope of the upcoming Brno Biennial and the feasibility of its production and notify the applicants shortly afterwards.
Except for symbolic fee of support, the organiser does not cover the projects selected to the Off Programme financially. The Moravian Gallery provides space and basic infrastructure for exhibitions as well as exposure for all Off Programme events in official materials related to the Biennial, such as catalogue and other printed or digital media. Off Programme contributors receive all-access pass to events organized by the Biennial. The organiser is willing to assist authors applying for grants with a letter of support.
The next application review is scheduled for early February, 2016.
