We have finalized the implementation plan with HQ this morning and here is the direction for SS16:
· Jul Buy:
o Upper canvas orders in core colors for core Chuck Hi/Ox, Unisex will all go through OIA. All other canvas (lining, sock cover, and counter binding) should be ordered through the current spec’d canvas suppliers for Core Chuck Hi/Ox, Unisex.
(Definition on core colors: 10A white, Converse Black, Navy, Pink, Charcoal, Natural, Red; Definition on core Chuck Hi/Ox, Unisex: 32 SKUs in total – see attached for the detailed SKU list)
o All other SS16 SKUs (non-core and Kids Core) will still go through the original canvas suppliers directly from shoe factories to suppliers as per SS16 sale samples.
· Aug to Dec buy:
o We will follow up with another email in the coming weeks to provide you a clear direction once it is ready.

To ensure that all our shoe factory partners are clear about the ordering for July buy, we will set up a meeting this week at CTS for further clarification. I will work with your Material Purchasing team on the exact schedule later today.

We highly appreciate your patience and big support to us on this program and are also planning a workshop in the week of Jul.6th with HQ Direct Procurement, HQ Materials, OIA and all shoe factories. Thank you!

Nike Direct Procurement is partnering with the Nike Inc. Materials Operations and Development teams to identify suppliers, source materials and negotiate pricing on behalf of Nike Inc. to support materials programs sponsored by the business. Alexandra LaValley (on CC) will be leading the Converse programs as the Direct Procurement Sourcing Manager. Please continue to partner with OIA on your 8mm flat polyester lace orders, as OIA remains an important partner for us throughout this process. We ask for no change from your side, but just want to provide awareness to you on the addition of Nike Direct Procurement to our team.
