I will also address with Neil Haworth Course Architect the possibility of altering bunkers, shelves, and waste bunkers to a ROLL-IN type of bunker which can allow a higher percentage of machine mowing if that will help the project. Steep slopes on bunkers , benches and shelves look great but require fly mow attention. Roll in bunkers take up more area with gentle slopes but most can be mowed more readily with machines. It is just one thing that might could help with a garden style course---since blue grass requires more mowing that links grasses.
I look forward to seeing a set of Landscape plans for the site so I can help plan the future work and understand the scope of the Landscape design.
Neil Haworth is to make a visit to the jobsite shortly after September 1st. I intend to make him proud of the work and the job progress.
