In-depth-interview
This paper mainly uses in-depth-interview to understand the believers‟ worship
habits in Hsing Tian Kong. I used two ways to get access to interviewees; participant
observation and snowballing. I try to find out the reason why the believers accept the
new ritual or not. What advantages and disadvantages of incense burning and how the
believers face the change of Hsing Tian Kong.
