Hi Ruth,
Sorry to bother you, I just wanted to ask a few quick questions since you're a Garmin expert, and I am thinking about purchasing a new Garmin!
I'm currently using the Forerunner 15, and I'm really happy with the functions and size of my watch, but as much as I love it, it's getting a bit old and it's about time I bought myself a bit of an upgrade. What would you recommend for a runner that appreciates a small, light and functional watch? I haven't really thought about the heart rate monitor feature, but have you benefited from it yourself in your training and racing? I might be interested in giving it a go to add a new element into my own training and racing, but I'm also coping just fine with the simplicity of the Forerunner 15 and its functions!
I don't know if I want to spent too much money on a watch, when my legs are what really do the talking, so I think I'd rather be on the cheaper end of the spectrum since Garmin watches can range from reasonably affordable to extremely high-end products. With this in mind, I was thinking of the Forerunner 25, 35, or maybe even the 235 since it's on sale at the moment - a bit of an investment but maybe worth it in the long run!
Thanks for your time, I would greatly appreciate any input you may have! All the best with your racing this upcoming year - I wish you'd told me how accomplished you are, before someone had to point it out to me! What an honour to be in contact with a trail running legend, haha.
Best regards and Season's Greetings,
Nicole :)
