To investigate the micro-displacement sensing features,an experimental mounting was setup as shown in Fig.2. A 14mm-length special fiber was spliced into a conventional single mode fiber by using fusion splicer(FITEL S177). The sensing fiber was mounted onto two motion stages(Newport, M561D).
