I have a question about Triad Freeze Dryer.

Last Thursday, I was helping our customer to test the equipment and record the data of chamber cooling.
The display showed the shelf temperature as –70℃ under the pre-freeze of the Auto mode.
Then I stopped the refrigeration system by pressing Run/Stop. The display showed “SHLF=-27” & “COL=-53”.
I’m not quite understood, the real SHLF temperature not as shown as under the programming. Could you please give me a brief description how to describe to customer?
