The symptoms of most patients are pain and tingling of thumb, finger, middle finger and ring finger. The tingling can even extend to the arm, or when sleeping or using the hand. The causes of neuralgia include: local pressure, nerve injury, adhesion of nerve connective tissue, ischemia, damage of blood vessel and nerve barrier, inflammation or abnormality of synovium. The causes are excessive physical activity, such as repeated grasp of the hand, long-term weight-bearing of the upper limbs, cumulative injury of exercise, side lying of sleeping habits, long-term use of mobile phones, etc.
