Today I’m going to introduce the travel in Holland.

As you know, my destination is Holland.
This is the map of Holland.
The border countries surrounding Holland are Belgium and Germany.

Holland is famous for the windmills, the tulips, and the clogs.
Clogs are part of the Netherlands national costume.

Flying to Holland, the ticket cost is 26,140 NTD.

I will stay at the hotel named “Holiday Inn Express Amsterdam Arena Towers” first night.
It costs 3,812NTD a night.

In Holland (Amsterdam), I am going to, one special event is the Dutch Tulip Festival.
It runs from late March to May. (2016 dates: 24th March – 16th May 2016)
Keukenhof is an extremely beautiful garden in Amsterdam.
The Dutch festival is located just south of Amsterdam in the small town of Lisse.

People can visit Keukenhof to see different flowers in bloom.
Especially the tulips.
This is white grape hyacinths.
This is dark tulips.
This is orchids.
This is the prettiest tulips.

There were large beds of outdoor flowers but some of the best and most interesting tulips were in the indoor pavilions.
The pavilions are where you’ll see just about every tulip color and type imaginable.

I think it is one of the most wonderful events in the world.
All of the people who like flowers can participate in this activity.
However this festival is only for late March to May.

How will I earn money?
I will earn money at the farm.
This farm is at 3 meter below sea level. 3 km from the next village.
In this farm, I have to help them the production of vegetables.
Production of vegetables, as well big scale as old fashioned hand work in special plants as colored carrots and striped beetroot.

Accommodation is in the house or caravan.
They offer pure organic meals.
I can get a bike to enjoy the surroundings.
Amsterdam is about 80 km away.

What will I do for friends and fun?
I will join in a club to make friends.
Because my hobby is cycling, I can participate in the club named “Amsterdam Road Cycling”.
The club welcomes everyone, from beginners to experienced athletes.
In this club, everyone can post meetups – weekends, week nights and even week mornings.
So I think that taking part in this club is a really good way to make friends and for fun.
