With respect to response times (RTs), there was a main effect for group, F(1, 22) = 6.23, p = .02, η2 = .22, such that, in general, offenders (M= 410±14.1 ms) responded more slowly than controls (M= 360±14.1 ms). There was no effect of Trial-Type nor was there an interaction between Trial-Type and Group. As well, RTs were unrelated to psychopathy within the offender group, all p’s > .80. ISIs varied with task performance and offenders (M= 1086 ms±.58 ms) had longer ISIs than did controls (M= 846 ms±52 ms), F(1, 24) = 9.52, p = .005. This is consistent with the higher rate of errors of commission on NoGo trials seen in the offender group but was uncorrelated with PCL-R scores, r =−.19, p = .52.
