Hotfix 2 addresses a vulnerability

Hotfix 2 addresses a vulnerability when importing data with DameWare Exporter that can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow.


This hotfix can be applied to both 32-bit and 64-bit installations.

Hotfix 2 modifies the following file on the DameWare installation:
*DWExporter.exe

To install this hotfix:
1. Backup the DWExporter.exe file.
2. Extract the contents of the .ZIP file
3. Copy and paste the file into your DameWare installation folder, generally located at C:Program Files (x86)SolarWindsDameWare Remote Support 10.0
