Sorry for my slow reply. It is good to hear from you.

Some years ago KUK developed LED light system for PC210-10. Unfortunately we were not able to develop for other models due to resource problems.
Now I am starting this project again.
Our first target is PC240 & 290 -11 machines. I attach our concept sheet for this. (file size is big so I made PDF – hope this is OK for you).
Note part numbers shown on sheet 3. Cost estimation sheet 4 (but this shows BoM unit level). I will follow with individual lamp cost.

At first the concept is to follow the same arrangement as previous PC210-10 machine. However, our supplier (Tyri) has made 2 new proposals :
1. LED lamp cost reduction – they have developed a new LED light suitable for 24V system which provides same performance, with approx. 30% cost reduction. I will find some more detail about the cost proposal and send to you.
2. Diffused lens – The rear and side facing lamps are too bright for use with camera systems, so our current concept uses halogen lamps in these areas. The supplier has developed a new lamp which provides a much wider spread of light. Initial test in KUK was very positive.

Schedule :
KUK is now building a machine for test (build start today). We will confirm our initial proposal, then test the cost reduced lamps to confirm performance, and finally test the diffused lamps.

I propose to send you the test report when complete (approx. end October). Please let me know if this is OK for you. If necessary I could send the old PC210-10 test report, please let me know if you need this.
