Hi Ian
Thank you for your e-mail, I am recovering thank you.
We have been through your comments and I will summarise our recommendations tomorrow. I am conscious that we have a lot of comments and that we need input and approval from yourselves. This should be a collaborative process and we will need to discuss our recommendations with you.
In terms of your urgent request regarding Body Sculpture, our initial thoughts are as follows:
/ Body Sculpture side panels - the initial idea was to have all technical copy on red side panels and so, for practical reasons, these sometimes had to be the sides with the largest face area. We were only commissioned to do a limited number of packs and the packs vary in format and size, so it is difficult to predict every outcome without actually designing each individual pack.
A possible solution would be to have all side panels in red, to create a frame for the front and back images. Red is a core brand colour and we have the red frame around the body sculpture logo, so it would maintain brand integrity.
The product name should always appear on the side(s) of pack which will be visible when the products are merchandised flat, however I appreciate this is not always easy to predict.
This is a potentially elegant solution that would create a unique look - is this acceptable?
Also, as a general comment, have you considered standardising the pack sizes to a common grid system - this could help with artwork and production, and would certainly aid merchandising?
