GAG Stimulation of control explants with LPS produced a significant increase in GAG at 24 and 48 h (Fig. 2a and b) compared with unstimulated controls (Fig. 2a). In explants not stimulated with LPS, TURsim (9 and 15 μg/mL) significantly reduced overall GAG compared with unstimulated controls; media GAG was significantly lower in unstimulated explants conditioned with TURsim (15 μg/mL) at 48 h compared with unstimulated controls (Fig. 2b).
