Our goal for this study was to investigate the beneficial effect of a brain training game in the healthy elderly. This game was developed based on the previous cognitive training for the elderly. Some previous studies [22], [23] suggested that video game training studies should include an active control group that plays other types of video game. Based on the suggestion, the active control group was designed to control for test-retest effects and positive effects to play some video games. Because previous studies used the Tetris as an active control group [31], we included the active control group that played the Tetris published by Nintendo in 2006.
