Concentrations of cis-trans nepetal

Concentrations of cis-trans nepetalactone, trans-cis nepetalactone, actinidine, iridomyrmecin and isodihydronepetalactone in the four plant materials were determined using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry. Reference compounds and reference spectra for isoiridomyrmecin (CAS Registry Number 107538-14-7), dihydronepetalactone (4581-72-0) and neonepetalactone (4581-74-2) were not (commercially) available and these compounds could therefore not be identified.
