As a new model for connecting the classroom to “the real world,” Tenenberg introduced “industry fellows,” which pairs an industry professional and a university professor to coteach a class throughout an entire academic term. This model combines the strengths of each in order to address the challenge associated with relating and integrating real-world practice into the classroom [3,5]. The idea involves bringing the industry practitioner into the classroom to interact with students and to critique student work on an ongoing basis.
