Site inspection was conducted with your goodself and PA/TD on 19.11.2015. Measurement on site in accordance with the working diagram at float revealed that the centre point of the concerned flower pots fall within the boundary of STT SX4450, photos and plan are at F(110) & F(111) for your reference.
Interview with the tenants was also conducted on site with your goodself and PA/TD. Having noted that the concerned flower pots might slightly encroach the Government land, the tenants grumbled that the frequency of complaints and the magnitude of the allegation is disproportionate which cause annoyance to them. They were reluctant to set back the flower pots and opined that they may escalate the issue to the councillors and/or the press if this office insists on relocating the flower pots.
Despite this office had not disclosed the complainant's identity, the tenants guessed that the occupier of the 1/F of House No. 60 in Lake Court (i.e. Lot No. 1015 in D.D. 215) is the complainant. They further raised a complaint against the suspected unauthorized metal frames erected along the edge of the 1/F balcony of House No. 60 which projected over STT No. SX4453. The verbal complaint received was recorded on the complaint form at F(112) and was referred to LE Section.
Case is reported and submitted for your follow-up action, please.
