To answer your question, we'd like to tell you that first, we're going to provide you with the troubleshooting steps that have helped our customers solve their trackers' battery issues.
A few factors can cause your battery to stop charging:
Dirty charging contacts: Try cleaning them. Over time the contacts can accumulate dirt and debris that prevents them from making a good connection to the charger. Use a toothpick or toothbrush to clean the charging contacts; do not scrape them with anything metal because this can damage the plating and result in corrosion.
Faulty charging sources (USB port or plug): Try a different USB port or UL-certified wall charger. Do not use a USB hub.
Tracker isn’t connected to the charger: Try reconnecting your tracker to the charging cable. If your tracker has a display, you’ll see a battery icon while it's charging.
If the previous instructions did not help you, we recommend restarting your tracker using the steps below:
Plug your charging cable into the USB port and insert the other end into the port on the back of your Charge HR. Your tracker will begin charging.
Press and hold the button for 10 to 12 seconds until you see the Fitbit icon and a version number (e.g. "V88").
Let go of the button.
Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
