The NutrAward program was created fifteen years ago, to reward and recognize companies that are investing in rigorous and measurable scientific studies to prove the efficacy of their proprietary ingredients, products or technologies.
Celebrating Innovation
The NutrAward winners are selected based on a weighted vote from the selection committee (consisting of a panel of industry experts, scientists and nutritionists), as well as by cumulative votes of registered Engredea and Nutracon attendees. From all submission, finalists are chosen and then voted upon based on how well the ingredient or finished product meets the defined criteria including:

2012 NutrAward Winners
The 2012 Best New Ingredient NutrAward was awarded to InterHealth Nutraceuticals for to Zychrome®which consists of chromium, niacin and L-cysteine for managing insulin function. Read the full article here.
